Rick
Rick was born and raised in Waxahachie, TX. In 1989, he answered the call to the ministry and has experienced a journey
filled with many ministry opportunities. He began the ministry as a youth and recreation minister, as well as working on
his masters of Divinity. While working on his masters a door of opportunity was opened to him to play basketball over
seas and minister the Gospel. On his way back the Spirit of the Lord began to encourage him to minister as a coach! Rick
followed the leading of the Spirit and has affected thousands of lives since.
In 1997, Rick captured a state championship as an assistant basketball coach. After this, he left coaching to pursue
full-time ministry as a traveling evangelist and teacher. Rick has spent the last 10 years traveling all over the southern US
preaching at churches, rodeos, camps and schools: working along side YMCA’s, FCA’s, and Young Life. In 2002 Rick was
fortunate to help pioneer Life Stock Cowboy Church in Edmond, Oklahoma which is still a flourishing work of God!
During this season Rick met his rich, young, beautiful wife (Kassi) and was married that summer!
In 2004 Rick and Kassi began focusing on their home base of Waxahachie by embarking on Rick’s passion of Sports and
the Gospel of Jesus Christ! By the grace of God and our wonderful partners we began God’s Church Inc., which
incorporates the body of Christ to do the work of the ministry. We work alongside other churches and ministries putting
together camps and outreaches that affect our communities. Using the vehicle of sports, we have seen thousands of
people impacted by the love of Jesus!
Rick is currently the president of God’s Church Inc., ordained through Jerry Savelle Ministries, ministering all over the
world and most importantly an honored husband and d_d_! While in Waxahachie he serves as the WHS athletic chaplain
and trains young men and women in the principles of God through sports, personal training and the local FCA.
Kassi

Kassi was born and raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. At the age of 13, during a youth camp, she received the call of
God to go into ministry. However, it was 11 years, two college degrees and a lot of mistakes later, when Kassi finally
began to fulfill the God-given path for her life. In 1999, after completing her Masters, Kassi had an encounter with the
Holy Spirit. This moment was so prolific in her life that she immediately returned to her true passion in leading people
into the presence of God through worship. Kassi has now been in full-time ministry for seven years with her husband,
Rick Solis and two daughters, Michaela and Gabriela.
She is currently teaching and imparting her passion for worship to students at Southwestern Assemblies of God University
here in Waxahachie! She has a ministry to Ladies called Daddy’s Girls and she is in the process of producing her first
album!
